Responses in Italian are verbose and tend to hallucinate

When I ask questions in Italian, even for simple Q&A (i.e. basic calculations, see https://huggingface.co/chat/conversation/644bc3235e545644c65c27be)
I receive long and verbose responses. If prompted in English it replies to the point.
In addiction, if I start prompting in Italian, sometimes I get a reply in English.
It's due to the underlying model currently used: https://huggingface.co/OpenAssistant/oasst-sft-6-llama-30b-xor
It's trained on English content mostly
